Novabase was recently distinguished by the Euronext as an “Equity Champion” in the SME (small and medium-sized enterprise) category of the Euronext Lisbon Awards. This award acknowledges the company with capitalization below €1000 million and the highest total return, reflecting changes in stock prices and dividend payments. In the running were other companies from markets managed by the Euronext Lisbon, including foreign companies.
The award was given by a selection board comprised of PSI-20 Committee members during an initiative under the Portuguese stock market’s annual “Via Bolsa” event.
Novabase Executive Board Member Maria Gil, who represented the company at the event, says that “2019 was a year of strategic redefinition where Novabase announced its focus on next-generation IT services. This award is a positive message which inspires us to remain diligent in our execution, and aware of the two-way dialogue with the capital market.”
This year’s main theme of “Sustainable Finance” featured several prestigious speakers. The event was wrapped up by the Under-Secretary of State for Finance.
Since their creation in 2011, the Euronext Lisbon Awards have featured issuers, financial intermediaries, journalists, other institutions and people who play a key role every year in the capital market.
