Novabase Academy


 

  • What is it?

    Novabase Academy is a pioneer project aimed at strengthening project teams from different areas of Novabase Consulting, selecting a new generation of high-potential employees for the coming years. Characterized by a strong training component, this program is conducted every year after a promotional period at the most prestigious universities and institutes beginning in January.


    Who is it for?

    Novabase Academy targets the best upcoming and recent graduates from engineering and management programs at key universities and polytechnic institutes throughout the country.


    The Recruiting Process:

    Start of the trip: Novabase Academy presentation event

    FirstStop: Psychometric testing

    Second Stop: Interviews with managers

    • Arrival at destination: The Proposal

    Candidate selection criteria include technical skills and expertise, leadership ability, spirit of initiative and dynamism, growth potential, interpersonal relationship ability and teamwork, international experience and ability to manage conflicts and adapt.


    The training is broken down into two main components:

    • Two weeks of structured training in “Fundamental Consulting Skills”, consisting of a case study in which a professional situation simulates real-world conditions as closely as possible. This component takes place in a residential environment at facilities intended for this purpose.

    • Novabase Academy targets the best upcoming and recent graduates from engineering and management programs at key universities and polytechnic institutes throughout the country.

    For students who join the Novabase Academy project, the excellence of training in technical skills and behavioural skills (soft skills) is noteworthy, providing them not only with the foundation for a better adaptation to technology but also the development of solid consulting know-how.

     
  • Learning what it is like to be a consultant, how to deal with challenges and pressures from projects and how to rapidly get involved in projects that create value for clients, for Novabase and for themselves, are some of the capacities that trainees can expect to acquire. At a less specialized level, the teamwork approach, easier organizational integration/socialization and the rapid involvement in new projects are also of note.

    For Novabase:

    From Novabase’s perspective, the project represents the means par excellence of renewing its team with new and motivated employees who, with specialized training in consulting and technology, become valuable assets to the organization. While ensuring quality in its recruiting and training process, Novabase also strengthens its image with its employees and main target audiences.
